GRANT OPPORTUNITIES

DVRPC’s Regional Trails Program
This program provides planning assistance and financial support to trail developers, counties, municipalities, and nonprofit organizations to complete the Circuit, Greater Philadelphia’s 800-plus-mile network of multi-use trails. Learn more.
DCED’s Greenways, Trails, and Recreation Program
This program provides funding for planning, acquisition, development, rehabilitation and repair of greenways, recreational trails, open space, parks, and beautification projects using the Greenways, Trails, and Recreation Program (GTRP) through Act 13 of 2012. Learn more.
DVRPC’s Safe Streets and Roads for All Grant Program (as mentioned above)
With over $3 billion still available for future funding rounds, municipalities interested in applying for the SS4A grant are required to coordinate with DVRPC to ensure collaboration and resource sharing in conjunction with their in-process SS4A-funded Regional Vision Zero effort. The deadline to apply for implementation grants is 5:00 p.m. on May 16 or August 29, depending on the grant type. Learn more.
DEP’s Growing Greener Plus Program
This program provides grants to assist individuals, groups, and businesses in addressing a host of environmental issues including cleaning up abandoned mines; ensuring farm sustainability; restoring watersheds; helping communities address land use; and more. Learn more.
